Dale was licensed by the FAA as a single engine fixed wing pilot shortly after his sixteenth birthday. He is commercially rated as a single engine, multi engine, and lighter than air pilot and he is proud to fly “Blew Bayou”, a beautiful Cameron Viva-90 balloon named in honor of “the Bayou City” that she flies over.  Speaking of Blew Bayou - a picture of Blew Bayou (and John Little’s Orange Delight) has graced the cover of Texas Highways Magazine.  Pictures of Blew Bayou were also featured in a recent Balloon Federation of America magazine article, the Albuquerque Visitor's Guide, and the August, 2004 edition of Texas Highways magazine.  Dale is the chief pilot for Texas Air Adventures, LLC - a Houston area balloon ride and balloon services firm.  More information about Dale’s firm can be found at http://www.texasaa.com
